An integral component to better understanding parish strengths and challenges is the collation of solid and complete parish data. That is why registering is so important as our parish community continues to look to the future.

If you are new to the Roman Catholic Parish Community of St. John the Baptist or simply have yet to officially register as a parish member, you can request a Registration Form in one of three ways:

• Visiting the Pastoral Center office and picking one up
• Calling the Pastoral Center at 724.775.3940 ext. 3 and request a Parish Registration Form be mailed to you
• Download a Registration Form by clicking here

After you have completed the form, you can:

• Mail it to: St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center, 1501 Virginia Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061
• Bring it directly to the Pastoral Center office
• Place it in the collection basket at Mass

If you are a currently registered parishioner, but some change has occurred that merits you update your information, you can also use the Registration Form to do so.

As a parishioner of St. John the Baptist, would you please take a moment to provide your email address to the parish office? By doing this, it will help improve parish community communication in a way that is convenient for you as well as economical for the parish. Possible uses would be to send a link to the latest weekly bulletin, notices regarding upcoming parish activities and events as well as spiritual materials to inspire and enlighten. Just use the contact form below stating your name and your preferred email address in the text box provided below and then click the 'Send' button. The parish staff will take it from there.

As a parish, there is always a need for 'extra sets of hands'! Please contact the Pastoral Center if you are willing to help. Here are some suggestions on how a parishioner could assist:

• Usher, Greeter, Lector-Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
• Choir Member (September thru May)
• Faith Formation: Catechist, Hall Monitor, Classroom Aide, Youth Ministry
• Attend and participate in parish meetings
• Become involved in parish activities and projects
• Sacristan, Church Cleaning/Maintenance
• Visiting the sick and homebound
• Assist in visits to Heritage Valley Medical Center
• Weed and clean parish grounds
• General maintenance
